Last weekend week Up & Running Cheltenham supported Terksbury Half Marathon. On this visit he came across Andy Barham, a man driven by a cause as well as a personal mission. Here, in his own words is why he is doing what he is doing.

I had a scare with testicular about 7 years ago and had just finished playing rugby/sprinting. Never run distance but entered Cardiff half after all was ok with the scare and feltI should raise money for a charity.I found Male Cancer Awareness, small charity that concentrate on awareness amongst men, especially 18-35.They do it a unique way with characters such as Mr Testicles and Mr Nearnakedman.Progressed to marathons and did Dublin,Edinburgh,Cardiff,bath half,London all in 300days in 2007/8I had though then about doing something huge and now here we are...Starting August 2nd we'll run 100miles and cycle 800miles totalIn just 8 days.Works out about a Half marathon every day and 100mile cycle!Amanda rendall (London) is miss Nearnakedman and has had personal loss an sorrow from male Cancer and So is donning the suit too.Nicola Rogers (Cheltenham) is cycling all 900m in just 8 days with us to for her charity CoppaFeel which is a really über cool breast cancer charity.People can donate by visiting my just giving pageWww.justgiving.com/JOGLEAUGUST2012Or text JGLE80 and amount to 70070
