Mike opened the Horsham running shop in 2003. A member of Horsham Joggers for over 20 years he has completed a number of both road & off-road marathon events. These days however, with less training time available, it's more a case of `shorter' distance 10K road running with a preference for off-road, which includes nightime headtorch running in the winter months. Jackie and Pete have a similar wealth of running retail experience to advise on all your running and fitness needs. |

Alfred Shrubb ExhibitionLocal Sussex born Alfred Shrubb was arguably the greatest runner ever in the history of athletics. As the forgotten hero of British athletics, he astonishingly not only set 7 world records in one night, but escaped death from an iceberg and raced against horses after his ban from the Olympics. A holder of 15 world records he lived up to his nickname of `The Little Wonder'. See the exhibition now at the Horsham Museum - more info here There's also a very informative web site at www.alfieshrubb.ca Some local businesses and services of interest to runners ...
