New Balance 1080 Neutral Shoe

It is very rare that you get a shoe that really does meet expectations and does what it says it does.
Personally this shoe has helped me achieve my PB @ Half Marathon distance.
Now, before anyone says it's not just the shoes! I know this, but the feel and the ride in the shoe during those longer runs enabled me to push on whereas in the past my shoe has felt heavy and unresponsive.

It is true that the miles are no match for NB's premier neutral running shoe! Built for maximum cushioning, performance fit and flexibility, you can count on the 1080's ultimate soft ride and smooth transition from heel to toe. Abzorb® FL and N-ergy® defy whatever pounding you and your next marathon can dish out, keeping you running and feeling great on your feet".

10/10 A Top class neutral running shoe that seems to get better the further you run.

Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11

As a person whose feet over-pronate rather a lot, I have found the Adrenaline GTS 11 to be a great solution to the problem. Not only is the in-built arch support excellent at correcting my gait, it also does not affect the fit and comfort of the trainer.

In addition to this, the new DNA cushioning is absolutely fantastic. The non-Newtonian fluid seems to adapt itself to your, pace and running surface. I most commonly run approximately 10km on concrete during training, and from start to finish the cushioning has me bouncing along like a slow gazelle. The trainers feel like they want to continue even when I no longer can. Having owned my current pair for five months and clocked a few hundred miles in them, I can certainly vouch for their durability too.

10/10 - I can see why this cushioning would have Sir Isaac scratching his head.

Shock Absorber Run Bra

With an increasing amount of sports bras available on the market it is nice to get one specifically designed for running. Normally there are two methods of support used in a sports bra, either compression or encapsulation but the Run Bra has both, so there is very little movement when running, but you still have some definition.
Initially the bra felt soft, and looked complicated to get on with the two catches, but once on it feels secure and comfortable. I use them for all of my training as well as racing, and it's by far the best I've ever used, with no chaffing, quick drying and also easy to wash.
The bra comes in two colours, black and white so it goes well with all your running gear.

Thorlo Experia Sock

The new Experia sock follows the same principal as their regular crew sock in providing substantial padding with a flat seamed toe section. In the past Thorlos socks have compromised on a light-weight feel for superior comfort, but the Experia is much sleeker thanks to the patented Thorlo Pads, which are situated in the heel and forefoot (rather than throughout the whole sock as in the past). The rest of the material throughout the sock is very thin and light-weight, providing optimal wicking and giving the runner a race-sock feel, whilst being padded enough to be substantial over long training runs and events (half-marathons and beyond). The Experia also have an elasticated feel, which makes the sock more fitted around the foot.
