Our great Sheffield shop is run by Phil Kirwin, who many of you will know from Wakefield. Phil's a dedicated runner, and has been running with Rothwell Harriers for over 10 years,
in which time he's chalked up a 2h34 marathon and
a 32 minute 10k, so he can answer all your running questions!

Dear Up & Running
Every year a number of us train and run in the Percy Pud 10k race.
Following the tragic death of Megan Wyman, aged 15, who died suddenly in June 2007 after contracting Menigitis, we got a team of runners and non runners together to take part in her memory. We have raised approaching £2,000 for The Sick Children's Trust, which is the chosen charity of Megan's family.
Phil, at Up and Running Sheffield, has been an utter star and provided us (Team Megan) with T shirts. This was a very kind gesture and meant a lot to the team on race day. There is nothing like all being in matching kit to further enhance team spirit.
The weather at the start was beyond shocking but the rain did not dampen any spirits. Daren got 38.06 and I got 46.25 (pb).
Steve Haywood (Personal Trainer) was brilliant and helped Megan's best friend Daisy, friend Cat, and cousins Jess and Laura to get round. They all did really well.
Drop into the shop for the latest race information and entry leaflets, and if you're an organiser
drop us a line with your race details.
